Election Tomorrow

The election is tomorrow. More than likely, I will stop commenting on the political sphere and get back to the religious sphere, unless of course the two intersect…which based on how President Obama has done such a stand up stellar performance of making them intersect on such a regular basis (funny, considering the Democratic party is for the separation of church and state), will be still quite often.

If Governor Romney is elected, I’m hoping I won’t have to pay attention too much, but will if necessary, comment on poor decisions when they affect the Catholic sphere.

Go out and vote tomorrow!

The Democratic Party Doesn’t Like God: Changes Vote Without Majority

It is becoming more and more apparent that the Democratic Party HATES God.

If you are a Democrat AND have your faith rooted in God, what is keeping you there?

It is very clear that the Democratic party is split 50/50 if not more so for not wanting God as a part of their party’s platform. It makes sense. You can’t be the party of abortion, birth control, same sex “marriage”, Euthanasia, and all other heinous acts and still say “I love God”.

The Democratic party is moving away from God. This means that any of your beliefs that stem from your faith will be ignored by your party (if you are a Democrat).

I will admit, watching this video is hilarious. Its no surprise that even though there was no 2/3’s majority the motion still passed, just look at how many Executive Orders Obama has passed without having a majority behind it. So much for being the party of Democracy.

The look on his face is great as well.

Petition Alert: Dis-invite President Obama From Catholic Fundraiser

President Obama, who is the most pro-abortion President that we have ever had, as well as the President who has declared an all-out war on the Catholic Church, has been invited to a Catholic fundraiser in the Archdiocese of New York.

Below is a petition to Cardinal Dolan, requesting that he immediately dis-invite him. Please, if you have a moment, sign this and share with as many people as you can.

Seriously, what kind of Catholics are these people? Clearly they are misguided, or they are anti-Catholic Catholics.

Obamacare: The Mandate Stays As a Tax

Wow, apparently I was way off on my prediction last night. I’m kind of surprised, but, at the same time I’m not.

I would direct you to the Motley Monk’s opinion on the matter: I feel that it is a good read and provides some hope for what is to come.

Regardless, I think that this will make it even more difficult for Obama to be re-elected. I also feel that a lot of Democrats will have difficulty with elections this year as it is the status quot to stick to Obamacare. They will do their best to stay away from the issue, but, Republicans will make a big deal out of it.

Republicans are going to have a big year this year. My hope is that if they do take the Presidency, the Senate and keep their lead within the House, that they will actually fulfill their promise and scrap the whole thing, or at least take out the pro-abortion, pro-immorality pieces out of it. We need to keep our politicians honest. We vote for them to do what they say they are going to do. If you vote for someone who says they will repeal Obamacare and they later don’t do it or vote against it, it is time to give them the boot the next time they run.

As a Catholic, Obamacare CAN NOT stand. I’m concerned with what we will be forced to buy in the future…this is a bad decision that later on down the road, not doing anything the government tells you to will be seen as a tax and can thus be imposed. Our liberties and freedoms are at stake here.

I do believe though, that the HHS Mandate will eventually be ruled unconstitutional seeing as that is going against the First Amendment, but we will see…
