The Best Pope Ever Had A Wonderful Time Destroying Catholicism While On Vacation In Mexico

If you were silly enough to give up any form of liquor for Lent, I feel bad for you. No, I do. Pope Francis has given all faithful Catholics a reason to hit the bottle…hard. Actually, he’s given us like four or five with his Mexico trip alone, but after a few drinks, you begin to lose count.

Here are my highlights because others have already dug in and explained the wrongs of his statements.

Pope Francis, the fluffiest, most humble, nicest, least mean Pope ever to exist, berated a pilgrim who tried to get close to him by pulling him down.

12744373_10107855785080544_847940198193834182_n

It’s ironic isn’t it? When the hemorrhaging woman went to seek Jesus in the crowds, He commended her faith. This Pope, who has thrived on the rock star status since his elevation to the Petrine Ministry and has invited this sort of activity based on his behavior, reprimands a pilgrim. It certainly makes the story which was released about his sudden outburst during the Synod far more believable.

If you build walls, you aren’t a Christian. Countries apparently are not allowed to defend their borders, even though plenty of the Popes have stated to the contrary, as recently as Pope Benedict XVI. But, hey, the “Spirit” (though we all know it isn’t the Holy Spirit) is apparently directing the Church in this direction. But it’s okay that the Vatican has big walls surrounding the entire country. As the Papoloters are wont to do, they will only discuss the open gate in the front of the Vatican.

Vatican Walls

Donald Trump is not a Christian, according to Pope Francis. Irony has died as the man who won’t judge homosexuals, the divorced, the remarried, those who are unrepentant or don’t care about Catholicism in the slightest judges a man running for President. Now this isn’t an endorsement for Trump. Catholics can’t vote for him because he’s pro-abortion, full stop. But enough about politics, I’ll spare you for now.

Contraception is okay IF you are trying to stay away from the Zika virus. Because screw Catholic teaching.

I think that’s the majority of it. One Peter Five has several articles explaining more in depth about what happened.

I’ll come out and say it. Pope Francis doesn’t care a lick about Catholicism. To him, the Papacy is a tool to promote an agenda, and not a holy agenda either. He is here to promote his liberal liberation theology and will use Catholicism as a front to do so. He is not confusing. He is doing this intentionally. Wake up! It’s been THREE LONG YEARS, and he continues to do this.

Catholics can no longer stand by and fool themselves into thinking that Pope Francis is a great Pope. He isn’t even a good Pope. He is, quite possibly, the worst Pope to have ever existed in the entire history of the Catholic Church. He has woven a path of destruction throughout his entire papacy, this just being more icing on the cake, another nail in the coffin.

Pope Honorius was excommunicated after he had died, not because he was a heretic or taught error, but because he refused to denounce an error that existed during his Papacy, which riddled and weakened the Church. Pope Francis not only refuses to denounce the evils of this world, but he tauts false evils that are politically popular, and encourages evil behavior by those who wish the Church to fail.

There are no more excuses to make for this Pope. He has proven time and time again, that he is not an ally of Jesus Christ and His Church, but an enemy. Pray for him and pray that our next Pope will be a holy man of God who will fix the Church and the errors of this world.

Spot the Heresy: Reforming the Church

I’d like to begin a game in which I, your host, provide you with a quote. I will not tell you where the quote originated from, but you will be tasked with finding the heretical undertones of the quote. The purpose of this game is for you to learn to analyze what different individuals within the Catholic Church say, without the peskiness of knowing who said it, and determine if what is said is actually Catholic. Obviously, since the name of the game is “Spot the Heresy”, the statement will not be Catholic, but we can then analyze the reasons why it isn’t.

martin luther

Now that you know the rules, let us begin:

“[reforming the Church] means instead grafting yourself up and rooting yourself in Christ, leaving yourself to be guided by the Spirit – so that all will be possible with genius and creativity.”

So, where is the heresy? By my count, I see three heretical remarks nested within these 31 words. One heresy every ten words, that is quite the feat.

The first heresy is the implication that the Church is in need of reformation. While maybe not a heresy per se, it is most an error as the prelate who spoke these words believes that the Catholic Church as we know it today is in need of reforming everything, from the Liturgy to the priesthood, to the day to day lives of all Catholics. Whenever a prelate of the post-conciliar Church says that reformation is needed, it should never be assumed that they have the best intentions. Ever since the Second Vatican Council, we have heard of a supposed “need” for the Church to be reformed.

After seeing the poor implementation of the Council and the constant misinterpretations of what was actually called for, we can see that all of the reforms that have occurred since then have done nothing but harm to the Catholic Church. There are priest shortages in every diocese, the vast majority of the laity do not go to Mass weekly, over 70% of Catholics do not believe in the True Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, and 85% of Catholics who are confirmed leave the Church within five years.

The reforms of the Church over the last 50 years have been nothing but devastating and the only “reform” that we need is a return to the Truths and the Doctrines and Dogmas of the Catholic Church. Not a moving away from these because the laity and the world find them too hard. Jesus lost all of His followers when He told them that they did not have eternal life if they did not eat His Flesh and drink His Blood. If Our Lord didn’t back down, neither should we.

The second heresy is “rooting yourself in Christ, leaving yourself to be guided by the Spirit”. This implies that if we are to root ourselves in Christ (and ignore the Church because the two go hand in hand) that we are then able to allow the Holy Spirit to take control. The thing is, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ are one in the same God. By obeying one you can not disobey the other. Both are God, along with the Father, but neither of them will lead you astray from the other. It is impossible, as it is a contradiction.

Whenever you read or hear anything from anybody, whether they be Catholic or Protestant, clergy or laymen, religious or not, and they imply that any one person of the Trinity is different and can lead you towards a different path than another person of the Trinity, you know that they are dabbling in the heresy of blasphemy. As the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three persons in one God, they will always point to one Truth, not three separate truths.

The third heresy is “so that all will be possible with genius and creativity.” If you are at all familiar with the Gospel of Luke, you will know that “through God, all things are possible”. While genius and creativity are all attributes we can apply to the Lord, it is not these attributes that will help make the Church “better”. It will not be through mere human actions that will make things better, but by the grace of God that all of the problems we are currently facing will go away. This also falls under the heresy of Modernism, as it implies that it is through the experience and the feelings of the individuals to define what the “genius” and “creativity” would be.

Now, did you get all of the heresies? Were there any that I missed? Would you like to take a gander as to who said the above quote?

It was Pope Francis speaking to the Italian Church. If you have agreed with me during the entire post and now find yourself in disagreement, you might need to start rethinking your position as a faithful Catholic. If you have put your Catholic faith in any person other than Christ and the scandal of a Pope saying something so obviously non-Catholic, as we have just walked through, leaves you to now ignore basic Catholic doctrine and thought, then you are not being a faithful Catholic by following the Pope’s every word and defending them, but rather, you are being traitorous to Christ and His Church, as you have abandoned His teachings for that of a mere man.

There Is No “Get Out of Hell Free” Card

Jesus Christ is strict. He makes it clear throughout scripture we are to follow Him, His Church, and His teachings, whether they come from Him or through His Church. He is a merciful God and a just God, Who will judge us at the moment of our death as whether we are worthy to sit with Him in Heaven, atone for our sins in Purgatory, or writhe in agony in Hell for all eternity.

Get_Out_of_Jail_Free_Card

Parables are a tool Jesus uses in order to make more complicated teachings easier for us to understand. Having the effects of Original Sin on our souls, we cannot comprehend fully the mysteries of our faith. Thus, we are given these beautiful parallels as ways to which we can relate and comprehend our faith.

Many Catholics claim that those who are ignorant of God will get a pass. At the moment of death, or slightly before, God will reveal to them everything and give them an opportunity to become Catholic if they choose. While this might seem like a merciful act, it isn’t.

It would not be merciful for God to institute the sacraments through His Church and then allow every single person who chose to ignore these sacraments while walking upon this Earth, to receive a “Get Out of Hell Free” card. If all our pain and suffering in this life is for naught, simply because we will go to Heaven anyway, then this God is a cruel and merciless God, who allows suffering because He enjoys it. We know that this isn’t true, but it’s because of our sin and turning away from God that causes all suffering in this vale of tears.

If all we have to do is say we are sorry prior to our death or shortly thereafter, then there is absolutely no point in striving for sanctity, there is no point to living a good and holy life, and there is no point treating others well. We would be able to lie, cheat, steal, engage in sexual immorality, and perform whatever sin our body desired, with no consequence. Finally, if we are presented with this opportunity, then there is no point for us to be Catholic, and no point for the Church to exist. Why bother at all? We get to find out everything and still go to Heaven when we die.

What this line of thinking would eventually entail is that every evil person who lived upon this Earth and caused untold suffering to countless numbers of people would also get to go to Heaven. Adolf Hitler, Genghis Khan, Judas, and a number of evil men and women who have corrupted so many individuals, could very well be waiting in Heaven right now if they were able to choose just prior to their death or a few moments afterwards.

Of course, no Catholic who believes in this idea would give these sinful men that opportunity. Those who subscribe to this heresy won’t extend the olive branch to these evil men. Rather, they use this heresy to allow themselves to feel better after the loss of a friend, family member, or colleague who they liked but objectively speaking lived a sinful life away from Christ and His Church. In believing this lie, the deceased individual no longer benefits from prayers being said to aid them in Purgatory. Rather, they are abandoned to suffer unnecessarily, because friends, family, and acquaintances would rather assume the dead are thriving in Heaven, rather than the possibility (and likelihood) that they are instead being cleansed or purified in Purgatory. Even more so, if the deceased lived a life and died in a state of mortal sin, it is likely that they are not in Purgatory, but are sadly spending eternity in Hell.

There is also the idea of a person not being punished for committing particular sins if they are ignorant of the sin. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus gives us a clear parable that lends the impression that while the sinner might not be reprimanded in full for his actions, he will still be disciplined:

Let your loins be girt, and lamps burning in your hands. And you yourselves like to men who wait for their lord, when he shall return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when he cometh, shall find watching. Amen I say to you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and passing will minister unto them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. But this know ye, that if the householder did know at what hour the thief would come, he would surely watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open. Be you then also ready: for at what hour you think not, the Son of man will come. And Peter said to him: Lord, dost thou speak this parable to us, or likewise to all? And the Lord said: Who (thinkest thou) is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord setteth over his family, to give them their measure of wheat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come, he shall find so doing. Verily I say to you, he will set him over all that he possesseth. But if that servant shall say in his heart: My lord is long a coming; and shall begin to strike the menservants and maidservants, and to eat and to drink and be drunk: The lord of that servant will come in the day that he hopeth not, and at the hour that he knoweth not, and shall separate him, and shall appoint him his portion with unbelievers. And that servant who knew the will of his lord, and prepared not himself, and did not according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom they have committed much, of him they will demand the more. Luke 12:35-48 DR

Those who follow Jesus and all of His teachings are the faithful servants who keep watch for their Master. Those teachings are to be a member of Christ’s Holy Catholic Church, to stay in a state of grace, to confess all mortal sins in kind and number, and to follow all the precepts of the Church. Protestants, Jews, Atheists, Muslims, agnostics, and every other individual who is not in the Catholic Church and in the state of grace is at risk of spending eternity in Hell. Please, for the sake of your soul, accept Jesus Christ, His Church, and become Catholic. An eternity in Hell is not worth it.

How Would Catholics React if the Synod Were Related to Abortion?

With the Synod of the Family looming only a months away, it is important that all Catholics realize what is at stake. There have been numerous attempts by many bishops, cardinals and even the Pope to look for ways which would allow those who are divorced, remarried, or engaged in homosexual behavior to receive the Holy Eucharist. We are told that we need to extend an olive branch; we need to show them mercy.

Synod of the Family

This message is in spite of St. Paul’s warnings from Scripture:

Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 11:27-29

The reality of the situation is this: those who are actively engaged in any immoral behavior and are both unrepentant and have not been absolved are living in mortal sin and thus cannot receive the Holy Eucharist. There is no tiptoeing around the issue. There are no loopholes. Only those in the state of grace may receive our Lord.

A number of Catholics who are considered good, faithful, conservative Catholics are viewing this Synod in a positive light. In mistaken attempts to be viewed as “good Catholics” they will submit to the decisions of the Synod. If the Synod decides that adulterers can receive the Holy Eucharist, then they will assume that is what the Holy Spirit wants, and it is now acceptable to allow the practice, regardless of almost 2,000 years of Church teaching against the matter.

This response does not make one a faithful Catholic in good standing, but rather a sheep who only follows orders, and uses neither the brain nor the intellect with which God has endowed him. It is crucial we view the Synod with a different example of Mortal Sin. Let’s view the Synod in terms of abortion.

Hypothetically, let us imagine this upcoming Synod is not the “Synod of the Family”, but rather, the “Synod of the Child”; bishops and cardinals from around the world and the Pope gather in Rome to discuss the need to be merciful to abortionists, their lobbyists, and those who are in favor of the abortion “option”. We hear the need to be merciful to these poor misunderstood sinners. We are told that there are avenues by which a person who supports abortion in some form or another needs to be accepted at Holy Eucharist, so that they too may not be excluded and may feel welcome.

We see reports from prominent bishops and public figures holding key positions within the Church hierarchy explain the great need for this dialogue. It is important that all of God’s children feel welcome and accepted at the Lord’s Supper. There are numerous articles by several cardinals who are themselves in favor of allowing unrepentant murderers to receive Holy Eucharist, without amending their lives. These same cardinals tell us that even the Pope is on their side. The Pope is even on record as saying that one particular Cardinal’s theology is serene and an example of “doing theology on one’s knees”.

But there are bishops and cardinals who are against this idea. They cite the Church teaching on abortion by citing the recently canonized Pope St. John Paul II. These faithful bishops and cardinals are told that these teachings are “too extreme”. At the end of the first “Synod of the Child” the Pope issues a statement declaring that we can’t be too strict, and we can’t be too liberal. He explains we need to find a happy medium. But we know that when the life of an innocent child is about to be brutally ended that there is no happy medium. The “strictness of the law” protects the innocent child. The Synod even releases a mid-session relatio explaining how abortionists “have gifts and qualities to offer to the Christian community” and asks if the Church is “capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a fraternal space in our communities?”

HoldingBabiesHead-CMPVideo6-854px_810_500_55_s_c1

It seems to me that without a doubt this hypothetical situation would not only fall flat on its face in being implemented, but the faithful would rise up in unison to decry this heinous act against the magisterial teaching of the Church. Under no circumstance should an individual whose job is to destroy the life of an innocent unborn child, mutilate her, and sell off her parts to the highest bidder be able to receive our Eucharistic Lord. The evil of abortion is so strong amongst the faithful that they would not accept any teaching given by Rome that stated anything to the contrary.

Yet, the majority of the faithful seem ready to accept what the Synod might say in regards to adulterers being allowed to receive Holy Communion.

If the Church were to be wrong in coming out with some sort of plan allowing abortionists and pro-abortion individuals to receive Holy Communion, then the Church would be wrong in coming out with a plan allowing adulterers to receive Holy Communion. In both cases, we have evil and heinous acts (divorce, remarriage, and homosexuality are all condemned by Our Lord and the Church). If you are one of those Catholics who would accept the Synod’s decision to depart from Church teaching on divorce, remarriage, and homosexuality, then you must also accept a hypothetical future in which the Church might one day accept those in favor of abortion to Communion as well. This isn’t an either/or situation, but rather an all or nothing situation.

While The Enemies Rest Their Weary Heads

If you’ve been paying attention at all, you’ll know that there are plenty of the Church’s enemies operating from within the highest ranks of the Church, even the Vatican. These enemies are Modernists, heretics, and those who want to see the Church handed over to Satan. These men and women have spent the last 100 years infiltrating the Church and are finally seeing their efforts bear fruit within these last few years.

cozy bed

Objectively speaking, they still have a long ways to go, as they will not rest until every single individual who professes Christ’s sacrifice and His Truth is dead or silenced. However, they are becoming far more comfortable with themselves as they are winning more and more battles. Look no closer than the number of Bishops and Cardinals at the Synod who are in favor of giving communion to the divorced, remarried, and active homosexuals.

Their victories are allowing them to sleep more peacefully at night, I’d imagine. They rest easily, knowing that the Vicar of Christ is not going to stop them. After all, he approved the Relatio and continues to invite Cardinals and Bishops who openly preach a “gospel of acceptance”.

But the one thing they have forgotten in their efforts to destroy the Church from within, is who God Is. At one point they knew that God was omnipotent and unchanging. They knew that God was God. They knew that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, true God and true Man. They knew Jesus was divine. They knew what the Church taught, yet they did not believe. They wanted to redefine who God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost, Mary, the Saints, and the Church was. They created a god in their own image and likeness. They created another religion.

As the years have progressed and their evil has made itself manifest, we see that few people really know who God is. The problem. however, is these evil individuals have also forgotten. They have bought into the lie much like Adam and Eve bought into the serpent’s lie in the Garden. They no longer recognize who God is, but cling to their imaginative ideal of what they wanted God to be.

Adam_And_Eve_Become_Evicted

While all of this may sound depressing and glum, there is always hope. God is all powerful and omnipotent, and He will have His justice served to these transgressors. We need to pray, fast, and stick close to the Sacraments. We want our enemies to repent of their sins and convert. But we must also recognize that one day, they will meet Jesus Christ face to face, and will have to answer for their crimes against Him and His Church.

Whether this is through their own death, or through a great chastisement as Our Lady of Fatima has warned about almost 100 years ago, they will be forced to seen the error of their ways. And while they rested peacefully here on Earth, thinking that they had won, they have in reality been the biggest of losers and will live in torment for eternity.
