When was the last time you’ve been to confession? Has it been awhile? If you’ve been waiting for a sign that you should go, take this as one!

The Church teaches that if you die with unrepentant mortal sin on your soul, your eternal salvation is at risk and you will go to Hell. CCC 1861.

So, choose Heaven, and go to confession. Saturday is generally a day where most parishes have confession. Go! And keep going! I find it helpful to go at a minimum of once a month. If you commit a mortal sin, go again. You also can not receive Holy Communion if you have committed mortal sin. Go to confession often, do penance and avoid the near occasion of sin.
